Travel to a bygone era with this large and elegant hardboard leather suitcase complete with metal clasps and hinges which function well. (And a little key)
The suitcase also has wonderful stitching and a solid vellum handle as well. There are scratches, marks, some bent bits and some scuffs, consistent with its age and use, but this all adds to the unique character of the piece and adds some lovely vintage glamour. The internal section is beige lined and is in great condition. It is very sturdy and will look wonderful as a coffee table. A wonderful 1940s suitcase filled with character and I'm sure many tales!

STYLING TIPS Place it next to an armchair or table, either standing up, or flat, piled with interesting books and a few interesting vintage homeware pieces to add a colour splash. Or pile up three vintage suitcases, with a contemporary lamp, and use as a bedside table. You can even store small linen and towels inside. You could even leave this gorgeous suitcase open and use to store linen or towels or as an interesting storage for books.
