I adore old boxes and have my own collection in my home and this one is wonderful. A Victorian leather bound writing box with its original silver plate handles and internal moiree silk in the most exquisite blue. It has a blotting pad )and a few little compartments. It does have wear and tear commensurate with age but what a gorgeous and unsual piece to display open or closed or storage for keys. It has a pen but this is not old and has been added as an extra.
