Beautiful and evocative painting on board with a wonderful composition and glorious hues. It feels like a joyful summer day. I love the intrigue of someone just having put their summer hat down on the bench and perhaps popped inside for a drink. I love the glimpse of the flower pots on the window sill and the gorgeous flower pot on the table. Lovely impasto technique too particularly on the cushion and flowers. It has a lovely wooden frame too with a hint of blue. It is initialled.
