This is an exquisite antique box with a hand-painted chinoiserie scene of flowers and birds and a beautiful waved, grooved top. The lacquer has come off in parts and it is a chipped in sections (particularly on the edges). Beautiful and timeworn and the colour is glorious. Lovely for a dressing table or sideboard to keep little trinkets. Create a collection of stunning old boxes on your sideboard.
