This is a beautiful antique box with inlaid mother of pearl detail of birds. It has removable tray inside. The lacquer has come off in parts and it is a little chipped in sections (particularly on the edges). Beautiful and timeworn and we love the colour and the patina. It would have had a key originally. Lovely for a dressing table or sideboard to keep little trinkets.
