An exquisite French dinner plate in "Terre de fer" (Ironstone) made in France around the 1900s by the Faience "Gien" earthenware factory. The model is called " Chardons" which means "thistle" in English.
"Terre de Fer" was a trade name and similar to porcelain and became very popular in the early 1900s. There is a crack through the centre of the plate so it would be best used for decorative purposes.
