A beautiful depiction of an old village river side scene. Beautiful soft gentle brushstrokes create a calm and tranquil atmosphere. You can feel the village life around the water and the colours are beautiful - ochre, reds, blues and earthiness. It also has a lovely gilt frame in good condition with some little chips in parts.
