A beautiful depiction of a river side scene with steps leading into it. Beautiful brushstrokes and glorious green and ochre hues. You can feel the movement in the water and the trees. It also has a lovely gilt frame in very good condition with some little chips in parts. It is  signed and dated 1952 at the back.
