Published in the early half of the 1900s this is a very timeworn book but I loved the name. The author is John Thomas Smith or “Rainy Day” Smith who wrote gossip about London and art.  There is some fraying on the edges and watermarks, and very yellowing and old  pages consistent with its age. But overall, it is in beautiful timeworn condition with exquisite illustrations.
