A wonderful atmospheric impressionist style portrait of a lady, filled with mystery and the most glorious feather cape. I adore the the off-centre composition and the colour and loose brushstrokes are stunning. It is perfect for a colourful bedroom or living room. It is signed on the reverse and has a lovely gilded frame with a few small chips. There is no string at the back to currently hang it but this can easily be placed on the back. There is some discolouration and surface dirt.
