A large Victorian stoneware confit pot in a gorgeous glazed burgundy colour on the outside and glazed cream coloured inside.
In the Victorian kitchen, this jar was traditionally used to preserve food pre- refrigeration.
Rustic style, it would be a perfect decor in your farmhouse kitchen for utensils or as a planter. It will look especially nice with a small pot of herbs inside.
It is in a fabulous excellent vintage condition, no chips or cracks just some original potters marks and some wear and tear on the rim.
