An exquisite antique French dinner plate with a glorious transferware landscape scene and an equally gorgeous makers mark. The cream coloured ironstone is beautiful. It is in good condition and has no chips or cracks. These plates were made by "Grand Depot de Porcelaines et Faiences E. Bourgeois Paris & Marseille", founded in 1862 by Emile Bourgeois, the famous store that imported English ceramics and commissioned his own work in France.
