I adore this exquisite handpainted black lacquer cabinet, probably dating from the mid-1800 and which stands vetically with a lovely little brass latch and various shelves inside. The floral detail, slightly timeworn and faded is so beautiful. It does have some wear and tear and parts of the paint fading which is commensurate with age but what a gorgeous and unsual piece.
