This is a stunning midcentury oil painting on board of a harbour scene. The colours are vibrant, the brushstrokes a dream and I adore the little lighthouse. It also has a wonderful contemporary copper rose hued frame with a linen mount. It is signed and dated James Proudfoot 1963 . A wonderful statement piece of art.
