This is a beautiful, very large 1930s black lacquered wood tray with bird detail in gold shades. The lacquer has come off in parts and it is chipped n the corners but what a beautiful art piece. It has more of shiny lacquered back and matte front. It probably originates in Japan. Beautiful and timeworn and the patina is so lovely.
