A gorgeous vintage wall mounted coffee grinder, made by German manufacturer, Zassenhaus who has been the leading manufacturer of manual coffee grinders since 1867. This one dates to the 1950s. It has a porcelain "cafe" reservoir with a rustic metal lid, a cast iron grinder with a manual crank and wooden knob as well as the original glass catch cup which is mounted on a wooden board. The board has holes for attaching to the wall. It is rustic in parts, in vintage condition but has great character. There is a little chip in the glass. I love these coffee grinders - we have one mounted in our kitchen. It could be used although the coffee will be very coarse. I think it’s better as a decorative piece.
