A charming Mauchline-ware trinket box, made from sycamore wood featuring a transfer printed view of an architectural landmark although I am unsure which one it is. Mauchlin in Scotland was known for producing Victorian wooden souvenir treen items with transfer printed photos of British landmarks. This box has an inernal silk lining which was a classic feature of high-quality Victorian Mauchlinware boxes.
