A lovely atmospheric oil painting depicting workers gathering produce in the countryside, surrounded by lush green fields and distant mountains.
I love the loose, expressive brushwork, which gives the landscape a wonderful sense of movement. Painted in a post-impressionist style, there’s something very peaceful about this rural scene.
Signed and painted on canvas, mounted on stretchers. There is some discolouration consistent with age, along with a little scuffing to the edges.
