A beautiful early 20th century dice shaker with beautiful mother of pearl inlay and a glorious patina. It is in lovely condition. Antique dice shakers were to ensure fairness by preventing players from manipulating or "sleight-of-hand" rolling dice in popular gambling and parlor games like backgammon and poker dice. Also lovely as a vase with faux flowers and dried foliage.
