This is a beautiful oak country occasional table from the Georgian period. We can date it to around 1810 because of the rope twist detail on the base. It would have been made to celebrate Lord Nelsons victory at Trafalgar. The lovely patina and warmth on the wood, the elegant feet and the gorgeous shape make this a really special but useable piece. Perfect for a hallway or a little corner. There is some wear and tear and scratches on the feet and lower legs. It does not tilt and has a small gap in between the two pieces of wood .
