I can just picture this gorgeous stool in a French framhouse in the late 19th century. Rustic with a pale yellow, almost cream chippy paint, it has defintely seen lots of use in the beautiful warmth of a French country kitchen. It is sturdy with a slightly dipped seat. It is in lovely timeworn antique condition , with signs of historic woodworm which has been treated. It will look wonderful in any home , traditional or contemporary to add a little bit of French faded rustic elgance.
