A beautiful atmospheric depiction of trees, sky and water with delicate hints of seasonal change from summer to autumn. Beautiful technique and use of colour with ochres, muted yellows and soft greens.It is signed and dated 1917 and the canvas is framed in its original beautiful ebonised frame with an internal gilt mount which works beautifully with the painting. It is chipped in parts but is in beautiful antique condition.
