A beautiful vintage hand-painted Japanese kokeshi doll. I love the wood finish which is matt and unpolished. The centre is natural bark. I love the handpainted trees and waterfall and beautiful relaxing scene and it is signed on the side. It is a bobble-head kokeshi so the head moves around a little. Kokeshi dolls have been crafted for more than 150 years, each one is unique and they are thought to bring good luck and protection to the home.
