A beautiful and evocative antique "Pears" advertising poster possibly dating from the Victorian era. I love the stillness and mood of the image. That moment captured and the timeworn feel. There are watermarks on the mount and frame has a lovely old feel too. The original may have been painted by Joseph Clark (1834-1926). His paintings were exhibited at The Royal Academy and he also gained popularity and wide reach through the printing of his work in newspapers and magazines.
