I absolutely love old theatre illustrations. The dramatic wording, the gently faded hue of the paper. And these are beauties. Beautiful coloured lithographs dating from the 1800s. They detail the performances of Madame Catalani, a famous Italian opera singer who performed in London many times in the early 19th century and John Braham, who was one of the leading opera singers of the period and of German Jewish origin. He appeared as a treble and as a tenor.
They also have lovely gilt frames ready to hang with a soft ivory striped mount. Wonderful pieces of theatre history and gorgeous decor for a living room, home office or even a bathroom.
