A wonderful pair of rustic and reclaimed small shutters in shades of green, originating from Romania. The wood is painted with a distressed look and cracks here and there, but this all adds to the rustic look and feel. The reverse side of the shutters (with the original metal latches and handles) has more of a distressed paint look. The shutters would look stunning leaning on a sideboard or table against a wall or something similar. However, if you wanted to hang them, than it may be easier with the handle side in front so they attached seamlessly to the wall.
