A beautiful pair of gently faded and feminine French engravings by Nicholas Delaunay depicting women and children in a very classical and allegorical style after Fragonard. Nicholas Delaunay (1739-1792) was a French engraver and publisher. He was well known for both single sheet prints and vignettes.
We love the timeworn feel and the glorious gilt frames have some age too. Beautiful in a contemporary or traditional setting. Lean them against a wall or hang them amongst other interesting antique prints and etchings. They would look particularly gorgeous in a bathroom.
