This is a stunning oil painting on board, circa 1940s of sail boats on a lake with a glorious reflection on the water. The hues are so gentle, the brushstrokes a dream. I love the perspective and composition with the view of the beautiful building in the background. It also has a wonderful original wood frame. There is a little section on the right where the painting has come away from the frame. See images please. It is not signed.
