A wonderful Jaques and Son tennis racket, dating from the 1920s or 1930s and a trapeze-shaped press (a Dunlop press which may not have been the original press for this tennis racket). Both the racket and press are in good vintage condition. "John Jaques and Son of 20-21 Kirby Street, Hatton Garden, London were manufacturers of Tennis Rackets, Croquet, Footballs, Indoor Games, the latter including the original Staunton Chessmen.
