A beautiful round wooden frame. It has a lovely soft gold sheen- it may have had more of a rich gilt feel at another stage but it is a wonderful piece. It also has lovely fluted groves on the edge. Some splits and cracks and chips and pieces missing in the wood but adds to the rustic vintage feel. We love vintage and antique frames and yes, they can be used to reframe an interesting picture or painting but they are equally striking as pieces on their own. Layer them up with other interesting frames, place an object in the centre and you have a wonderful vignette.
