A beautiful silver-plated Art Nouveau hand mirror, an elegantly faded and timeworn patina with an ornate repoussé design. The Art Nouveau movement (late 1800s to early 1900s) was known for its flowing lines and stylised flowers which you can see in the beautiful decoration.
The repoussé technique is a traditional metalworking process in which the design is carefully worked from the reverse side to produce a richly textured, three-dimensional pattern. With its original bevelled glass which is slightly foxed, this hand mirror will add antique charm to any dressing table.
