A beautiful Victorian cast iron fireplace or hearth trivet, circa 1860. It has a wonderful Classical design motif on the top, lions paws as feet and decorative cartouches on the legs. It is in wonderful antique condition with just some chips to the black enamel and a little oxidisation on the legs. I love to use trivets as mini display stands with little sculptures or old bottles.
