A beautiful moody oil still-life in dramatic hues. I adore the brushstrokes on the copper jug and bowl - you can feel the material, texture and sheen and the painting has wonderful expressive brushstrokes in parts. It is also framed in a lovely gold frame which is timeworn in sections. It is signed and dated 1964. There is one little section where the paint has come off. Perfect for a kitchen or dining area.
