Travel to a bygone era with this wonderful brown steamer trunk/travel trunk. The trunk is a very large size with brass latches on the front of the trunk. The two leather handles on either side of the trunk are broken. It is made from wood and canvas. The trunk also has wooden strapping/planks all around for protection, bolted on with metal studs and nails. The owner's details are written onto the trunk and the internal lining has wear and tear that one would expect. It has also has a type of wax remnant splodge on the top (see image). The trunk is very heavy and there are many scuffs and tears at the corners and other sections, consistent with its age and use, as well as some tears in the inside lining. The one lock does not close.

STYLING TIPS
This is a wonderful vintage chic trunk that will look stunning as a coffee table or sidetable in a living room or bedroom or even against a wall. Pile it up with interesting books and a few interesting vintage homeware pieces and a bright blue hydrangea. Or even with a contemporary lamp, and use as a bedside table.
