The most fabulous vintage German postal letter/envelope scale with two pendulums swinging out in opposite directions - it is just wonderful to watch how it works. It was made by Philipp Jakob Maul in Hamburg (possibly around the 1940s) in black and gold-coloured metal. It is very light. The lower dial reads 0 to 250 grams and the upper dial reads 0 to 1000 grams. It is quite rusty and slightly bent on the top but the dials still move very well when a weight is placed on the top (see pic)
