This is a wonderful wooden model of HMS Victory, one of Britain’s most historic warships. Commissioned in 1759 and best known for her role at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, HMS Victory is a lasting symbol of Britain’s naval heritage. The model is beautifully constructed with a varnished wooden stand and a brass name plaque. The cotton sails are slightly timeworn and faded. This is a wonderful decorative piece for those with an interest in maritime history, sailing, or naval antiques, and a perfect piece to add something different to a shelf.
