I love Mrs Beetons. I have my own one that was published in the 1940s and I love paving through it. It’s fascinating!.
“Mrs Beetons Household Management” was the ultimate guide to running an efficient Victorian household. It covered everything from cooking, to etiquette, to laundry work and table decoration. It was first published in 1861 and she was only 21.
